Branding - Storm Electrical
This brief was to create a distinct look for an independent electrician who was starting up on their own and wanted a brand that would stand out. The client was open to ideas and didn't have many stipulations, apart from the final logo had to be able to work across dark backgrounds.
As always, I start with sketches of ideas or design directions I want to go in. From there I turned to Illustrator and Cinema 4D to work up some of the key shapes I liked.
Once cleaned up these were presented to the client.
Presented with these ideas the client preferred the second set, in particular the circular design & wanted to see more colour options. From that I developed it further and looked at complimentary typefaces.
The client settled on a single colour option, blue to which I offered a variety of shades, whilst finalising the build of the logo and typeface.
A couple of final touches at the client's request and the final logo was released and is being applied to a range of items.
